Boys Basketball Tryouts

Requirements for participation:

 

1.       Students must have a completed, current Knox County physical form and a copy of their nine weeks report card (when available) on file with Coach Allen before tryouts. The completed physical form must be on a Knox County physical form and report card copy (when available) must be turned in by October 7^th .

2.       Students must have a “C” average the prior nine weeks grading period to tryout. “C” average is a 2.0 not rounded up.

3.       Students must maintain a “C” average each nine weeks grading period after that to remain eligible.

4.       No student shall be eligible to participate if he or she becomes 15 years of age (or older) on or before August 1^st.

5.       A student shall have been promoted from the preceding grade the previous school year.

6.       A student shall have three consecutive years to participate from the date she first enrolled in six grade.

7.       A current physical is a physical completed on or after April 30, 2011. This physical is good for the entire year as long as it is on a Knox County Physical Form.

8.       A member of the KMS team will not be permitted to play on any other team during the season.
